Lighting is Key
Use natural daylight or good indoor lighting. Avoid harsh shadows and backlighting. Golden hour (sunrise/sunset) photos are ideal.
Focus on the Face
Make sure the face is in sharp focus and clearly visible. Minimum 500x500 pixels for best results.
Neutral Background
Simple backgrounds work best. Avoid busy patterns that distract from the portrait.
Head Position
Face the camera directly or at a slight 3/4 angle. Eyes should be clear and looking towards the camera.
Smile Naturally
Natural smiles look best! Avoid forced expressions. Let your personality shine through.
Higher Resolution
The higher the resolution, the better the final print. Aim for at least 1000x1000 pixels.
Clear Expressions
Avoid photos where the face is partially covered or obscured by hair, hands, or other objects.
Avoid Heavy Filters
Natural photos work best. Heavy filters or excessive editing can affect the minifigure conversion quality.

Can I use a group photo?
For the best minifigure conversion, we recommend individual portrait photos. Group photos can be used, but the face(s) must be clear.
